This beautiful and historic Guest House, originally known as Olinda’s, was built in 1902 at the peak of Edwardian period. The Queenscliff Inn was originally built as a Guest House for holiday makers that would come down from Melbourne on the infamous paddle steamers. Guests would stay for at least a week and would be catered for breakfast lunch and dinner.
The Drawing Room was used as one of the primary entertaining areas and was the heart of The Queenscliff Inn. For a short period of time the Inn was a private residence, however was later restored to the charming Guest House it is today.
The Queenscliff Inn maintains its heritage beginnings, with the Inn operating in much the same manner it has for the last century. Today, we operate as a Bed and Breakfast, YHA and Restaurant. We are open 7days a week, 8am-10pm. |
